1. Description of Service

PlaylistBridge is a free web application that converts plain text song lists into search links for third-party music streaming platforms including Spotify, YouTube Music, and YouTube. PlaylistBridge also provides an embedded YouTube player ("InstantPlay") that allows playback of publicly available YouTube content within the browser.

PlaylistBridge is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify, YouTube, Google, Apple Music, xAI, Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other company or platform referenced on this site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PlaylistBridge. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use this service. By using PlaylistBridge, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PlaylistBridge only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to:

• Use PlaylistBridge to facilitate copyright infringement or the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from PlaylistBridge at scale without prior written permission.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of PlaylistBridge.
• Submit abusive, harmful, or illegal content through the feedback or community playlist features.
• Use PlaylistBridge in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate excessive load on the service or its third-party API dependencies.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using any community or feedback features.

4. Music Content and Copyright

What PlaylistBridge does

PlaylistBridge is a link generation tool. It performs the following operations:

• Accepts plain text song titles submitted by users.
• Queries the Apple iTunes Search API to look up publicly available song metadata.
• Generates URL links to search results on official platforms (Spotify, YouTube Music, YouTube).
• Embeds publicly available YouTube videos via the YouTube IFrame API for in-browser playback.

What PlaylistBridge does not do

YouTube IFrame API usage

The InstantPlay feature uses the YouTube IFrame API in accordance with YouTube's Terms of Service and API Services Terms of Service. Playback via InstantPlay is subject to YouTube's own content policies and restrictions. PlaylistBridge does not control which content is available on YouTube or enforce any geographic restrictions — this is handled entirely by YouTube.

Users are responsible for ensuring their use of YouTube content via PlaylistBridge complies with YouTube's Terms of Service, available at: youtube.com/t/terms

Third-party platform links

The Spotify, YouTube Music, and YouTube search links generated by PlaylistBridge direct users to official platform search results. PlaylistBridge does not have any agreement with, access to, or control over these platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed entirely by their respective terms of service.

5. Community Features

PlaylistBridge offers a Community Playlist feature where users can publish and browse anonymously submitted song lists. By submitting a playlist to the community:

• You grant PlaylistBridge a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display the submitted song titles.
• You confirm that the song titles you submit are factual information (names of publicly known songs) and not original creative content owned by you.
• You understand that community submissions are public and may be seen by any user of PlaylistBridge.
• You agree not to submit offensive, harmful, or misleading song titles.

We reserve the right to remove any community playlist at any time without notice.

6. Advertisements

PlaylistBridge does not currently display third-party advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future, this section will be updated to reflect which advertising partners are used and what policies govern them. Users will be notified via an updated Privacy Policy before any advertising network is activated.

Any future advertisements will be clearly distinguishable from content. PlaylistBridge will not accept payment from third parties in exchange for editorial content or endorsement.

7. Intellectual Property

The PlaylistBridge name, logo, interface design, and original source code are the property of the PlaylistBridge developer. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute these without prior written permission.

All third-party trademarks referenced on this site (Spotify, YouTube, Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Apple Music, etc.) are the property of their respective owners. Their use on PlaylistBridge is for descriptive and informational purposes only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Song titles, artist names, and album artwork displayed on PlaylistBridge are sourced from the Apple iTunes Search API and remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlaylistBridge and its developer shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service or any third-party platform we link to.
• Inaccurate song metadata, incorrect matches, or broken links to third-party platforms.
• Any content, policies, or actions of third-party platforms including Spotify, YouTube, Google, Apple, or Firebase.
• Any loss of data stored in community features or local browser storage.

PlaylistBridge operates as a personal/hobby project. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

PlaylistBridge generates and displays links to third-party websites and services. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service you use via PlaylistBridge.

Links to third-party platforms are provided for informational and convenience purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of PlaylistBridge after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

We recommend reviewing these terms periodically. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page.

11. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to PlaylistBridge for any user who violates these Terms of Service, abuses the service, or engages in conduct we determine to be harmful to the service, other users, or third parties — at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
